Chris Miranda

VP of Professional Development

I am a Video Network Engineer for Comcast West Division in Denver, CO. I started my career with Comcast in 2007 in the San Francisco Bay Area (San Jose, CA) and have held various positions since. I started as a Residential Installer and became a Business Services Installer in 2009. From there, I went on to hold some exciting positions: Enterprise Installer (MetroE), Headend Technician, Regional Video Network Engineer, and my current position. I used the SCTE as a catapult to grow myself and have been fortunate to have experienced all the various roles I’ve held. I am a firm believer in the SCTE’s mission, which is why I volunteer my time to give back to the SCTE and its members. Prior to relocating to Denver in 2017, I served on the Golden Gate Chapter board in the Bay Area. I aspire to serve on the board of the Rocky Mountain Chapter one day. Because of my belief in the SCTE, I still maintain 7 active SCTE certifications even though they may not all pertain to my current role.

I have a wife, Roselynn, and two daughters, Camilla and Natalie with whom I enjoy spending my free time with. I am a runner and enjoy being a sports fan: mostly boxing, football, and basketball.
