Daniel Kibler

Assistant Board

Daniel Kibler is a senior technical consultant with Leading Path, a management and technology consulting firm based in McLean, Virginia, delivering communications infrastructure solutions for government and commercial customers including Comcast and Charter Communications.

Daniel specializes in 5G cellular specifications and the long-term impacts of the convergence of wireless and wireline technologies on access and core networks.

In 2010, Daniel led software development at New Global Telecom, a venture startup providing business voice over IP (VoIP) services. At NGT he pioneered the use of asynchronous transactional interfaces for integration between systems. These interfaces became the basis for NGT’s integration with Comcast, leading to the acquisition of NGT by Comcast in 2010. NGT systems became the foundation for Comcast’s Business VoiceEdge Unified Communications product line which continues to be available today.

Following NGT’s acquisition, Daniel joined Comcast as Senior Manager of Systems Development and went on to contribute to the rollout of IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) voice infrastructure at Comcast. His work on IMS led to his involvement in 5G cellular, a peer specification to IMS under 3GPP.

Daniel has an MBA from the Consortium Institute of Management and Business Analysis (CIMBA) in Italy and a BS in Engineering from Pennsylvania State University.

He also has a bachelor’s degree in classical music from Pennsylvania State University, and originally came to Colorado for the Aspen Music Festival that takes place each summer.

Daniel lives in Denver with his family and loves the Colorado outdoors including skiing, whitewater, mountain biking, and many other activities.
