The Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE) is a non-profit professional association that provides technical leadership for the telecommunications industry and serves its members through professional development, standards, certification and information.
Since 1969, SCTE has continually expanded its resources and services to meet the changing needs of its members in a rapidly evolving industry. Today, approximately 13,000 CTOs, engineers, system operation managers, technicians, and field operations personnel from the U.S. and 70 countries worldwide depend upon SCTE to deliver the tools they need to maintain their competitive edge. SCTE has more than 68 chapters and meeting groups, and over 3,000 cable telecommunications professionals hold SCTE technical certifications. The Society continues to serve its diverse membership and the industry by offering a wide variety of educational programs and services.

Click on Become a Member under the Membership page. The page will require you to join or login in. If you don’t already have a login you would click on Create a New Account to get started. Please be sure to enter your Comcast email address and choose Comcast as your company from the Primary Organization field in order for your Corporate Alliance Membership to process correctly. To do this, type the letters "COMCA" for your company name and choose Comcast Cable Communications from the list that appears. If you select any other Company Name, or type the entire name, the PROMO code will not work.
Go to the Membership Page and click "Become a Member".
Select CAP as your membership type by clicking "Add To Cart".
View cart to proceed to checkout.

Click "Submit" to confirm order and activate membership.
Current Member Renewal – Non-Comcast Employees
If you were or already are a member, make sure your membership has not lapsed. If your membership is up for renewal (in the next 3 months) or has recently lapsed (in the past 6 months) an invoice will available on your record. Log into your SCTE account and click on My Account in the upper right corner. On the left side of this page, a Renew Now button will be visible. Click the Renew Now button and follow the prompts to renew your membership.

Members who joined prior to November 2020 will receive a renewal email in late January. If you do not receive the renewal email, please check your “Junk” or “Other” folders. Still can’t find it? Follow these easy steps to complete your renewal:
