Dileep Kumar Soma is a highly skilled and results-driven technical professional with expertise in network communications security, wireless channel management, and network traffic classification. He has a proven track record of innovation with 20 patents filed with USPTO (16 granted as of date) and 3 publications in reputed Journals in the field of wireless technologies.

Dileep received multiple awards for his contributions from companies like Spirent, Charter Communications and Dell Technologies.

Mr. Soma currently works as a Principal Wireless Engineer at Charter Communications where his responsibilities include:
▪ Designing end-end architecture for a wifi-7 wireless extender with a modified EasyMesh protocol.
▪ He is also a subject matter expert (SME) for the topics on Multi Link operation (MLO) & puncturing for Wifi7, OFDMA and MU-MIMO concepts and implementation details.

Prior to his current role, Mr. Soma worked as a Wireless Senior Engineer at Dell Technologies where he
▪ Designed the architecture for the overall Audio fusion project in collaboration with multiple vendors and developed detailed documentation, key performance indicators and test plan for Audio fusion.
▪ He also designed and patented the idea of Connection based Teaming (CBT) which talks about the most efficient way of utilizing multiple networks simultaneously.
▪ Worked on developing traffic optimizing applications like Smartconnect and Smart byte for the client devices.

In addition to his technical skills, Mr. Soma is also a strong communicator and collaborator with experience in leading and mentoring teams.
