Kelly Daniels

Kelly Daniels is an independent consultant formerly Senior Manager Development Engineering at Charter, in the Advance Digital Video Engineering Group. His work in telephone operations and engineering started in 1983 with Class 4 switching and began in Cable in 1994 with integration of Telephone Operations into Cable Operations, then again in 1995 with Cable, Telephone and Internet services integration. Briefly Kelly was VP Network Development at Novus in Canada with DEMS & Fiber cable infrastructure with voice and internet services. Kelly left carrier services to work on PON in 2000 for NEC and Alcatel.
From 1986 to 2000 Kelly was active in leadership for telecommunication standards (S1, T1 and M1), Engineering specifications Local and Toll Switch Signaling and O/BSS operations in ECSA/ATIS. Kelly is an active member in IEEE.
Kelly re-joined SCTE in 2014 when joining Charter and hopes to expand membership and training to the application developers in member companies and vendors.
