Kirsten Vaughn

Kirsten Vaughn is the Director of Global Procurement for Clearfield, overseeing procurement, purchasing, supply chain, supplier relations, supplier risk management, and supplier performance management. With more than 25 years of procurement experience in both the public and private sectors, Kirsten offers fresh perspective and strategic direction for operational excellence and is a true servant leader who leads by example, inspiring excellence, goals attainment and operational success.
Kirsten’s former roles include Senior Procurement Manager for both Charter Communications and CenturyLink overseeing all procurement functions for outside plant products and services. She also held several roles of increasing responsibility for the Department of Defense, Lockheed Martin, and Agilent Technologies. Among her many accomplishments, Kirsten oversaw all aspects of implementation of the supplier information and performance management project at Charter Communications in partnership with key internal stakeholders.
Kirsten holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Regis University and a Master’s Degree in Procurement and Acquisition Management from Webster University.
Kirsten is also a council member of the Gerson Lehrman Group (GLG), a platform for professional learning connecting businesspeople trying to solve problems to experts that can solve them.
When not working, Kirsten enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren. She also enjoys spending time with friends, hiking, running, traveling and watching professional sports.
