Mike Spaulding

Mike has 22 years’ experience in the cable/telecommunications industry working throughout United States. He started out his career in the industry designing and deploying HFC networks in several states for Time Warner Cable. He has held various technical leadership positions during his tenure in the industry. Currently he holds the position of Vice President of Engineering for Comcast’s Mountain West Region leading engineering across four states (CO, NM, UT, AZ). He is responsible for the oversight of all engineering functions including Advanced Engineering/Headend Operations, HFC Network Maintenance, and Construction.

During his 22 years, he has led the deployments of Digital Video, Video on Demand, Broadband Internet, Digital Phone, and Metro Ethernet networks. Mike has served in many capacities with SCTE as board member including past president of the Bonneville chapter. Mike is also a graduate of the SCTE Tuck Leadership program.
