Telecom innovations such as IoT standardization and deployments, end-to-end managed in-home services, and the appetite for training the workforce for vertical-driven services are enticing broadband service providers to consider supporting the wellness industry.

The wellness industry (such as Aging in Place, Telehealth services, etc.) is looking for increased delivery of health equity through partnerships that reduce their workload, offer infrastructure to execute, and reduce the cost of delivery.  This along with the broadband infrastructure investments from the governments (such as almost $ 1 trillion in the US) with the purpose of reducing digital equity is opening the opportunity to build “Telecom for Wellness” solutions with a win-win-win attitude.

A win for the broadband operators, for the wellness providers, and for the communities in need.  This presentation makes a case for such a collaboration.
